This bill created three new safety standards for automobiles and other types of vehicles...
o Power windows must automatically reverse direction when they detect an obstruction.
o To prevent rollaways, cars with automatic transmission cannot be shifted out of Park unless the driver is depressing the brake.
o To prevent injuring people directly behind the car and too low to be seen with the rear-view mirror, cars must be equipped with a camera that allows the driver to see what is behind the car while backing up.
