Other congressional attempts to restore voting rights

An identical bill, S-772, was introduced in the Senate on March 18, 2015.

There also have been several previous attempts to pass a bill that would restore voting rights for former felons. None of them made it far enough to be voted on by the full House of Representatives or Senate.
